About me

About Me

2012 in Dublin

"Believe you can and you're halfway there" (Theodore Roosevelt). I believe that anyone can change the world with the palms of his hand.

I started this blog, 69 heels at the time when I started selling some sexy-looking shoes and those were the name I called my set of shoes.

Lola Oyedotun Balogun, born and raised in Nigeria, lived in Dublin and Calgary (I love travelling and experiencing different cultures).  I have a wonderful family whom I love so much. I am passionate about Technology, Financial Independence, Education, Youth Empowerment and my Country.   There are so many problems that can be solved with technology and I want to be part of that solution that could reach a number of end-users. I am still growing and learning to be a Leader.

My main goal in life is to see people succeed, regardless of their background. I want to see youths have the option of a fulfilled life instead of venturing into crimes and robbery- I know this is a huge goal but then again, I can always contribute my own quota. But, you know what? I can never achieve any of this until I personally become successful, thereby influencing others in both my words and actions.

I love fashion and dressing up, which girl doesn't? I also enjoy organizing my environment. I am an introvert but then again can be influenced by the people around me. During my stay in Dublin, Ireland I became a project leader with Forioge Youth Club, I got involved with a number of projects which included a project recognized in my name 'Lola Light'.
